Contacts Notification Android Apps on Google Play

This application allows you to set up to six contacts that will appear in a notification in the notification bar. From there, you can call, message, email and many other things, without exiting your running application.
You can choose to show a menu, direct dial or direct message for each contact.

Believe it or not, people actually use their phones to make calls! That’s crazy talk, in this day and age. Personally, my call plan is unlimited or something. I haven’t checked but I know I have unlimited data, I use that more than anything. All joking aside, I’d phone home to Mrs B from work, asking “what’s for dinner,” “how are the kids?” The good lady is saved in my favourites in the phone app that has carried over with every Android phone I’ve ever owned. I’ve never had to move, change, edit…. Since I first set that up. Same as my home phone number, my Mother etc etc. All available by pressing the phone icon, I have it set to launch favourites first and there they are. Easy.

What if you wanted to have your favourite contacts in your Notification Tray?

Contacts Notification lets choose up to six contacts you want to appear,

You can choose an icon size,

Quick call,

Quick SMS,

Quick Email.

Pretty basic options in a fairly basic application, if I’m honest. No awards for innovation or design coming from this. It is an app to add a quick call, SMS etc etc to your notification tray and it does do that. If you happen to be looking for something of this nature, then I would recommend downloading but you won’t be wowed.

I’ve grabbed the developers own screen shots this time because it would be a PITA blacking out my own. His friends and family are a little more interesting.
