Would you buy a Motorola now that they will be a Lenovo company?

It’s nearly a week since the news broke that Google are selling Motorola to the Chinese manufacturing giants Lenovo. Lots of people got their pants in a twist, crying it’s an outrage! It was widely reported that even some “fan boys” were returning their Moto Xs because of the sale. You might call me cynical here but, isn’t that a bit over the top?

Founded in 1984,  Lenovo Group Ltd. is a Chinese multinational technology company with headquarters in Beijing, China, and Morrisville, North Carolina, United States. You can find some information from Google Investor Relations here if you want the full story. The plan was for this poll to start running last week but there was so much nonsense getting spread about that we decided to wait until things calmed down and people had a chance to read what was happening then make their mind up. (Not something that occurs on the internet often. Forgive me for being a smartass.)

  1. Got my moto x on the night of the sale. Lenovo have really helped Intel into the mobile world. I can only hope the next moto will be Intel. Hmmm wet dreams.

  2. Although Google developed those phones, I think definitely NO WAY, because the technical service is now responsible for the new owners, it’s means LENOVO.
