Following your team away from home in the Barclays Premier League just got better. Away fans are an essential part of the atmosphere, and Away Days is your essential guide to being a part of it.

This official application is a great guide for planning your trip, where to eat, where to have a pint or coffee and offers routes fans can follow to get to the visiting section of where ever you may be visiting on the big match day. All twenty of the current Barclay’s Premier League teams are included with detailed maps and stadium plans that could be vital on the day. Big trips away can be daunting, meeting forty thousand home fans can be pretty scary too. (Football has changed these days but if I’m being honest, England used to have a terrible record for football violence and gang fights in the 1980’s. Although incidents still happen visitors are generally safe now with high police presence and CCTV.)

Away Days even offers some promotions and freebies on match day, they can all be found in the app and slightly differ from area/ stadium. You can get free coffee from their selected partners, cheaper travel, cheaper car parking, hotels etc etc.

Maybe you’ll never visit England or plan to watch a match live. The detailed information about the clubs is very interesting too. I know from our site stats that the US is the most popular country that visits DroidHorizon. Soccer hasn’t really got going over there yet but I’d certainly recommend downloading Away Days to even have a read about the teams in the Premier League. I’ve been a Newcastle United fan since 1991. I’ve experienced every high and low since. Once you get bit by the bug, there’s no turning back.   (Unfortunately)

Premier League Away Days is completely free from adverts, there’s no added payments or In App Purchases.

Chief Editor of DroidHorizon. I own a few different devices at the minute and enjoy writing reviews and sharing what I think is cool. You can often find me playing Playstation 4 or sprawled across the couch with headphones on (maybe with a nice beer or gin & tonic in-hand)
