Review: I’ll take my battery TogoPower from Fusechicken

With the every growing need to charge on the “go”, I am always up for testing anything that tries to solve that need. FuseChicken’s togoPower Keyring Charger is a small but useful bit of kit. This is a great solution to anyone who is a heavy phone user, and doesn’t necessarily want to carry a huge battery pack around with them. The TogoPower fits nicely on your key ring, and is sleek and light. Its the smallest one I have seen and allows for a quick boost of the battery when you need it most. There is also the advantage of not having to carry cables, as all connections are built into the device itself.

The Togo Power keyring charger comes in two different models one for Android and one for iPhone. This little guy packs a 1000 mAh rechargeable lithium battery, though not massive, if you’re in the middle of nowhere and you need to charge your phone, its an absolute life saver. Once the battery in the TogoPower is empty, you can then easily charge it using the attached usb cable.

Though it may not seem a lot, the 1000 mAh battery was enough to get an hour or so out of my M8. Due to its small size and lightweight it means that you can always have it on you. Its now a permanent attachment for my keys and gives me peace of mind.

Overall this device works as expected, I can leave it attached to my phone till it is fully depleted and it never gets hot. It can charge in a little over 2 hours, and works really well. Now the only issue I have is the price, it comes in at $35. Thats a nice bit of money, for an hours charge. But I do think that people should get it, its a great piece of kit. The lack of cables means its compact and useful.

You can grab it from Fusechicken.com
