Most people should know the Ministry Of Silly Walks Sketch. Made famous by The Monty Python team and in particular John Cleese. If you have no idea what this is, check out the YouTube video here . Well now we get to do our own silly walks, on your Android phone or tablet.

This game doesn’t bring much to the already full genre of endless runners ( in this case walking), apart from the best sound board of any game this year.

You play as John, walking home.  It would seem the walk home has many obstacles you need to jump and slide over and under to avoid. Along the way you get a variety of upgrades such as slow motion, coin magnet and invincibility. The further you manage to walk the faster the game goes making it harder and harder.

The game supports Google Play Services ( over 600 players signed in so far). This is only used for leaderboards no achievements as of yet. Hopefully the development team can add some fancy achievements soon to add a little more meat to the game.

You can also buy upgrades and new suits with in-game coin. There doesn’t seem to be a way to buy extra coins only the ones found while playing the game. To me this is the correct format for a paid app. You’ll be glad to read no In App Purchases.

I have found both on my Nexus 7 and Moto X the game lags after about 600m, often the reason I die. I’m hoping this gets sorted very quickly.

If you’re a Monty Python fan, get this game for £0.99 GBP. Experience a fine example of legendary British comedy on your Android device. This must be the first of a kind.
