Nun Attack: Run & Gun – Review
Nun Attack leaves very little to the imagination, its a game about nuns with guns. Its a pickup and play style game, with easy to learn controls and some great looking graphics. I have read that this is a sequel, and the original game managed to download millions of downloads, so i’m sure this will get the same.
This is a runner style game, where you need to get from A to B running in a straight line. You need to avoid obstacles and enemies by jumping, sliding or shooting them. You start by picking a nun, arm her to the teeth, purchase any additional upgrades, and get straight into the action. There are of course the obligatory power ups and coins to pick up along the way, these can be used in game to power up your nun and buy new weaponry.
This is a unique game in the way it delivers the content. Shooting feels strangely satisfying, when you power up your nun it looks badass, and when you die its like a scene out of Machete. On paper this game doesn’t look great, but its all in the gameplay. The developers have put a great deal of thought into polishing this game and making the action feel like a Bruce Willis action flick.
Nun Attack: Run & Gun is free to play. There are the obvious IAP’s you can make, and even some social integration to get some free stuff, but you give the game the benefit of the doubt as its a lot of fun to play with and to be honest you don’t need the IAPs to have fun with this game. There has been a lot of hard work and time put into the development of this game, and its not some flakey IAP based money maker.
