Tiny Troopers

Tiny Troopers

Played on Google Nexus 7 running stock 4.1.2

Graphics

Pretty decent but not groundbreaking in any sense. Looks clear, colours look sharp and no jagged edges makes this title easy enough on the eye but no wow factor in the graphics department. Absolutely no problems with rendering or dropped frames, that I can see. I think 😉

Performance

Tiny Troopers plays very well on my Nexus7. Haven’t played on any older devices or on a smaller screen. In description says it supports from Android 2.2 up, so pretty sure whichever device you have, you’ll enjoy some solid performance also. Menus load quickly here too which is also great news. Doesn’t feel like long waiting to get stuck in, we’re happy about that. No lags. Everything’s very fluid from the start.

Gameplay

Size doesn’t matter to these miniature men of war as they take on a big enemy.

Size doesn’t matter to these miniature men of war.

Take control of a petite platoon of crack soldiers in a variety of wee warzones as you battle through an epic third-person-shooter campaign. Military-grade strategy, intense shooter action, outstanding 3D visuals and a wry smile make Tiny Troopers an unmissable combination of manic combat, monumental mirth and miniature marines.

Reminds me of  Cannon Fodder if you remember that title from yesteryear.

Remove Ads… Doesn’t do anything (Developer says fix is incoming)

Campaign…      Standard mode where you earn XP with various objectives. Kill bad guys, save journalists, usual stuff.

Missions….        Like Campaign, no XP.

Extras….             View your stats, soldiers and achievements.

Tutorial….         Learn the buttons, quick easy level to get to grips.

Zombies….         Stay alive!! Great fun to be had here.

In App Purchases are present but for me it doesn’t stop the enjoyment. It’s not in-your-face and I’m pretty sure you won’t have to pay anything to complete the game. I think. I’ve played a few levels, played some Zombies and hadn’t noticed until I clicked it to find out.

As always we have provided a link to Google Play for you to download and enjoy. Feel free to comment here or contact us on our prefered social networks.
