User Manager ROOT Android 4.2 Review

User Manager ROOT Android 4.2 Review

Allows you to share apps between multiple user accounts. When the device is used by family members then you can easily disable apps they should not be using.

Special sale only for limited time! When the app has improved and more features have been added then it will be sold for regular price.

Requirements and limits:

– Only works on Android 4.2 devices with enabled multi user support. The app will NOT enable multi user support if it’s not enabled by default. Currently Google only supports multiple user accounts on tablets.

– Root access is needed! If your device is not rooted then you can’t use this app.

– After you have done some changes the app needs to reboot your device. Sorry for that but at the moment there is no other option! I hope in the future I can offer a better solution without the need to reboot.

– The app can only be used by the device owner.

– You can enable both free and paid apps. However apps with a license check are only working if the Google account they were purchased with has been added for this user account.

Does what it says on the tin.

Let other users on your Tablet only have access to your applications and no access to the ones you don’t. My Nexus7 sits on the kitchen counter or on the coffee table and my wife grabs it to play her silly games or whatever it is she does. Some apps I don’t want here to see or read all my GMail notifications that kind of thing. Paid apps that validate your license don’t work, they shouldn’t.     All very simple here…

Select what you want User #2 to have access to.

Select done

Reboot.

Available from Google Play at the introductory price of 50p. I’m excited to see what else the developer (ramdroid) can add.

As always, we have provided a link HERE to download and install.
