Everyone loves stylish and high quality wallpapers on their devices. Everyone loves Material Design #PraiseDuarte #amirite. wall:splash offers these two things in a lightweight and fantastic to look at package that I’m sure everyone will agree with. Built to the new standard Google recommend, users will certainly find a wallpaper to suit which ever theme or style they’re trying to achieve. I’ve been known to share a few screen shots on my personal Google Plus stream in the past, I like to try to design something that looks good on my phone or even something minimal that suits what I need at the time.

The current version includes following features:
- Over 2000 images
- Browse the images
- Material Design
- Clean and minimalistic
- Many animations
- Set the wallpaper with a single click
- Set and crop the wallpaper with a long click
wall:splash offers a free source of wallpapers, the application is opened source for other developers to use and build from. A few things I noticed that weren’t available though. I’d like to search for a particular style or colour but no search options are present. No save to storage either but you could use the built in share intent to email yourself the wallpaper then tweak or re-size as you so desire. Categories would be welcome too, nearly every other wallpaper app like this has them, possibly using tags from the source.
A great looking and ok source of walls, wall:space’s best attributes are really the design language. I’m a fan of the animations through-out, the layout, the way the accents match the picture on display. Lightweight as mentioned and with minimal fuss or permissions, I’d be more than happy to recommend readers to grab the app and have a look around themselves.
