Weatherlove – Review
Weatherlove has been out for almost two years, but I had only found out about it last week. Being that already started writing the review before I realised this, I thought better to continue and make sure everyone knows about this stylish weather app.
Weatherlove is a very simple and intuitive app. It may not win awards in functions offered, but for ease of use and the look of it, it goes to the top of my list. You can see the weather for the next four days at a glance, it has a wide variety of widgets and offers a flat icon option.
The widget amount has increased from the initial four to eight. This includes a 1×1 widget up to a 4×2 with clock and all the way to a 4×4 weather widget. You get all the basic functionality such as setting the location and update interval, time format and temperature unit used. By reducing the amount of settings offered, you spend no time setting it up, onced open it will set everything for you.
This is why I like Weatherlove so much, its so simple in its design and function, that it offers everything I would need in a weather app. It offers flat icons (my favourite), the weather and a variety of widgets. For checking out the weather and telling the time, it does a job perfectly. It feels very intune with KitKat, and offers a lot of the standard android design requirements.
With a wide choice of widgets with settings, and a slick interface, Weatherlove is now top of my weather apps. With so many similar apps in the market, its now becoming less of how much function you can squeeze into an APK but on how it looks and how to use it.
