Unsettle&Co decided to design the Unclip keychain in a way so you can have the benefits of a keychain, plus the other functions of your daily tools all by just releasing the clip from the carabiner!
They wanted to transform how you view your everyday carry essentials and strive to make life a little bit easier for the on-the-go lifestyle. It’s simple yet effective. The Unclip was designed with two spring-loaded wings for quick release action. All you have to do is use two fingers to pull the wings down and release the clip!
The strap also allows you to easily unscrew the Chicago screws to loop in your keys or even change your option of Military-Grade Nylon Webbing or Genuine Full-Grain Cowhide Leather!
The quick release spring loaded wings keep your keychain fully secure while still making it easy to release with a simple touch. Keeping the minimal design in mind, the bottle and package opener functions were built straight into the keychain carabiner. We researched the various types of ways to make the clip detachable. Unsettle&Co went through various designs to reach the finalized prototype.
In the end, they knew by making the Unclip keychain spring-loaded, they could make sure the keychain was securely locked in. Unsettle&Co is a young industrial design company based in San Diego aiming to create unique everyday design goods.
