A lesser known technology site, based in the UK, I believe. I’d noticed they commented and interacted on a few of our post, so I thought I’d check them out.
What we have here is an application that pulls articles from their site. It does it very well and looks very nice on phone or tablet. (Tested on the Nexus7 & Nexus4.) A few settings are provided also….
- Use Dark Theme (See 4th screen shot, above)
- Default Text Size
- Screen Rotate Mode
- Push Notifications
- Alert Type
- Notification Tone
- Quiet Time (That’s a good option if you happen to use the push feature. No point it going off when you’re in bed or whatever)
The app makes a good use of screen real estate on the Nexus7 and looks great on Nexus4 too. The content shared is also pretty good, they share not just Android news, technology in general and news and reviews that you may like. They seem to me nice guys, from the brief time we have chatted but only really getting on their feet. We wish them luck on future endeavours….
