Today HMD Global launch Nokia phones beta labs. “Listening to their fans is essential for them, and their lab is the embodiment of that collaboration.”
Bringing together a collective of enthusiasts, HMD Global Nokia phones beta labs are designed to give early adopters a voice in how they shape experiences, giving the company direct feedback on the user experience of new platforms.
The first beta experience for users to try will be Android Oreo beta testing on Nokia 8 phones. It’s a first look so it may not be perfect (as is the usual case in BETA testing) , but the participation of some of their fans will help them shape, hone and iron out glitches before launch.
We engineer our phones to achieve more for our fans so their feedback is invaluable; it’s great to bring them along on our journey and give some of them the first chance to experience. Says Juho Sarvikas (Chief Product Officer, HMD Global.)
Joining the Nokia labs beta is completely free although as with everything beta-related you can expect a less-than-perfectly-stable software experience while on a non-final Oreo firmware. Sign in using an active email, Google or Facebook account. Input your IMEI number, network and adhere to the terms and conditions to gain access. Let us know how you get on, eh?
Please remember only Nokia 8 users will be able to sign-up and trial the Android Oreo beta testing. nokia.com/phones/betalabs
