August EP636 bluetooth wireless headphones review

Hi guys I have some more audio head ware for you this time in the shape of the August bluetooth wireless headphones model EP636 in silver.

The EP363 are a slimmer more toned down version of it’s bigger brother (check out my review of the EP650 here) but it in no means packs less of a punch.
It’s band is slimmer and more light weight which unfortunately for me is reflected in how flimsy it is, they are not designed for everyday wear and tare (in my eyes at least), I have four children two of which are under the age of two and are at a very grabby age and I was in constant fear that they were going to break them at every given opportunity.

With the sound I did find it was of excellent quality, its obviously not what you would expect from a pair that cost ran into the hundreds but for its price I found it to be brilliant, as always my media ran through my HTC One M8 with the Dolby Digital plus software and in comparison to its big brother i didn’t find much of a difference, it wasn’t as bassy but it enough to keep me engaged in the music, this time i didn’t just stop with music, as many of you were aware this past week saw a phenomenon called Back To The Future day which gave me reason enough to watch the films but using the EP363 headphones and it survived the bombardment of time circuits and “Great Scott’s” very well.

Unfortunately for me the problem remains with the EP series regarding the controls, although very responsive i found i needed every now and then to remove the head set to see which button I was pressing, and more particular with the 636 I found them to be a bit more uncomfortable with the added issue of the left speaker sounding as if muffled by a pillow every now and then causing me to add a little pressure to the left side which made it click, now this may just be a malfunction with the set I have but without a second pair I could give you 100% clarification, if you have purchased these and have the same issue plase drop a comment below and let us know.

For many people the packaging isn’t important but in my eyes its the first thing your eyes see, its the first thing your hands feel and to be honest the packaging wasn’t that bad firm and safe with great protection for the headset.
You can connect via NFC which i did try but couldn’t get to work so i stuck with the tried and tested Bluetooth pairing

You can find out more in depth details Here direct from the manufacture.
